I decided to post this photo (after not posting for over a week) because I like the texture in it. There isn’t that much doing on, only three simple lines. But there are clearly different types of texture that I think play nicely with each other, the pebbles, the grass, and the smooth stone.

I don’t really have much to say about this picture except the cool shapped rock that is the subject. And it was taken at Coos Canyon in Maine on the first field trip we had.
Soothing Water

The picture seems very soothing because of the smoothness of the rocks. Taken around Grafton Notch Maine, I was able to get really close to sections of the rapids because although they were still rapids, at the top portion they were a lot calmer as they approached a small fall.
