Sunday Stills: Shadows

I went into my archives for this one. These picture were taken at the Boboli Gardens in Florence in the fall. The shadow is of an iron fence around a small pond of water. I picked this picture because of the way the curved lines of the gate mix with defined lines on the ground creating a interesting relationship between the lines depicted here.

    Oh, I love these pictures. I tend to appreciate photography that makes good use of shadows, and these are really unique.
