Sunday Still: Blue

March 26, 2011

It’s been a while since I have posted for a Sunday Still but I’m back. I cheated a little bit because all photos are from my archives. However, the manipulation and collage aspect were done this week.

I took the pictures and saturated them with blue, occasionally leaving a little bit of red or green in depending on the picture. Some of the photos where changed into black and white prior to achieve a different affect. Those pictures are entirely blue. The ones that were not changed to black and white prior still retain colors other than blue.

A large portion of this pictures from previous post and my large collection of pictures from abroad. I also chose portions of pictures that were not artistically taken, but details of that picture stuck out to me. Most of the pictures were chosen because of their textures.
