Sunday Stills: First Signs of Fall
September 25, 2011
It has been a while since I have posted a photograph for Sunday stills. (To be exact the last one was “Sunday Stills: Black and White”). The theme this week was first signs of fall and I took some pictures of dying plants contrasted with living plants around my yard. I also took a picture of an ax because my dad was chopping wood in preparation for a first fall fire.

Nice shots. My plants look similar. Good choice using B & W for the axe pic!
I like when fall just comes slowly and the green intermingles with the reds and golds.
Love the axe shot nothing better than a fall bonfire..:-)
Nice shots. The picture of the axe is great.
The smell of a wood fire in fall – good memories.
Nice job….I do appreciate the the axe, we’ve been staking firewood. A good sign of fall……..LOL
Thanks everyone for all the great comments!
Nice signs of Fall… that shot of axe is simply speechless!
I love the contrasting colors. Very cool. The last shot is a tad spooky…appropriate for this time of year. : )
