Archival Dig

November 10, 2011

This blog began when I took a nature photography class and wanted a place to post pictures from the class and other pictures I took. Recently, when I have been going back through my blog I realized I actually haven’t posted many of the pictures I took on slides. Here are two pictures that caught my eye in my nature photography class collection. The first picture was from my May 13, 2008 trip to Monhegan Island in Maine. The second picture was from my April 30, 2009 trip to Morse Mountain, Maine. Both pictures were taken on slide film and then scanned into a computer.

It’s refreshing to go back and look at pictures I had put away in the closet (literally put the slides in my closet it at home). I hope you have enjoyed them!

It’s a normal thing for me to review images I took months or years ago; there is almost always something that pops out when I do. Your images here are terrific! Keep looking and reviewing those ‘old’ images; you’ll find even more treasures like these there. Cheers!
