The Garden at Monticello

September 28, 2012

On my way down to Duck in August, my parents and I stopped to tour Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello. We lucked out with a gorgeous day. The sun shone down, lighting the estate, and clear skies allowed for gorgeous views of the Virginia countryside. Despite the dry summer, the garden had still bloomed and there were plenty of lush green plants to photograph. The tour through the house was very enjoyable and I was glad to visit this important estate. I strongly recommend taking a trip there!
